The load-bearing system by unpainted bare concrete is emphasized as a principal and autonomous structural configuration of distinctive elements (sandwich type plates, bearing walls, columns). The second layer of the outer boundary of the building comprises of curtain walls, painted panels and blinds that are “interlocking” with the structural system. The building’s transparency, necessary for commercial and office uses, emphasizes the interplay of these different systems, as well as their aesthetic and structural significance for the total configuration of the building. The building commercial stores on ground level and offices on the upper levels.
